MightyBackup is a wireless service that saves a copy of your phone's address book to a secure web site. If your phone is lost, stolen or damaged, MightyBackup helps you restore your saved address book to your new phone - wirelessly!
MightyBackup creates a copy your phone's address book on a secure, password-protected web site, on a schedule that you control. You can tell MightyBackup to back up your phone book every day, on weekdays, once per week, or only when you feel like it.
MightyBackup also provides you with a convenient way to verify that your phone book has been backed up correctly. By logging into your account on the web, you can view your archived phone book and print a formatted paper copy. You only use the web if you want to - MightyBackup works just fine even if you don't have a PC!
Getting Started
Before you can begin safely backing up your phone book, you'll need to download MightyBackup to your phone.
Your wireless service provider has a "store" from which you can purchase applications for your phone. The store is accessible from a menu on your phone.
To get MightyBackup, simply use your phone to navigate to your wireless service provider's store, find MightyBackup in the catalog, and download it to your phone.
The rest is even easier - MightyBackup will guide you through a simple series of steps that will create an account for you, set a schedule for automatic backups, and perform the first backup of your phone book.
When you purchase MightyBackup, the charge will be automatically added as an item on your monthly wireless service bill.

MightyBackup in your wireless service provider's store, you'll simply need to select the subscription pricing option.
Backing up your phone book
When you download MightyBackup, you will be guided through a simple series of steps that will create an account for you and backup your phone
book for the first time.
MightyBackup will safely back up any subsequent changes to your phone book either automatically, at a schedule that you set, or manually, depending on the schedule option you selected when you first created your account.
Automatic backups
As part of the initial setup for MightyBackup, you will set a schedule for automatically backing up your phone book. The schedule options are:
You set the time and the frequency at which you'd like your phone book to be backed up, and MightyBackup automatically backs it up for you.
You can change the schedule settings for your automatic backups at any time by going to the Options menu of MightyBackup on your phone and selecting "Set schedule".
Manual Backups
You can manually start a backup of your phone book any time you wish by simply pressing the "Backup Now" button in the Main screen of
MightyBackup on your phone.
Restoring your phone book
If you have previously used MightyBackup to copy your phone book, MightyBackup automatically transfers your phone book to your new phone.
When you have obtained your new phone and are ready to restore your phone book to it, simply follow the steps below:
Note: Different models of phones have different phone book characteristics. You'll get the best results with MightyBackup when you restore your phone book to a phone that is the same model as the one that you backed up.
Changing your PIN
You can change your PIN at any time. To change your PIN, you go to the Options menu of MightyBackup on your phone and choose "Change
PIN". MightyBackup will guide you through the following steps:
When you change your PIN on your phone, MightyBackup will automatically make the update to your account. The next time you log into your MightyBackup account on the web, you'll need to use the new PIN.
Make sure to save your PIN in a safe place - you will need it should you ever need to restore your phone book.

What does "Awaiting backup:" mean?
On the main screen of MightyBackup on your phone, there is a red number under "Awaiting backup:". This number indicates the total number
of changes that you have made to your address book since the last backup. If the number is 0, your phone book is completely backed up.
What does "Backed up:" mean?
On the main screen of MightyBackup on your phone, there is a green number under "Backed up:". This number indicates the total number
contact entries that are safely backed up in your account.
How will I be billed for MightyBackup?
After you have purchased MightyBackup from your wireless service provider's store, the charge will conveniently appear on your monthly
wireless bill.
Can I try MightyBackup before I buy it?
You get a free, 7-day trial version of MightyBackup. The trial version will allow you to backup your phone for
week and see how MightyBackup works.
